The Secret Garden Landscape Process
(Full Landscape Design)
Initial Site Visit and Garden Consultation
The initial site visit will consist of a tour of your yard as well as a thorough discussion of your gardening style, wants, needs and the possibilities for your outdoor space. Each prospective Full Garden Design project must first begin with a Garden Consultation. (Please note: if you decide to move forward with a Full Garden Design project within a week of your garden consultation, the cost of the consultation will be applied to the final project fee.
Site Analysis
During the site analysis, our team will make a scientific and holistic evaluation of your garden. We will note the existing plants, sun/shade patterns, soil type, elevation, slopes, views, and wind patterns, and take measurements and photos to ensure that the design options we create fully work with and complements your existing garden environment.
Design Options Meeting
At the Design Meeting, you will have a chance to review the garden design options that Secret Garden Landscapes has prepared for you. These are working designs that we can discuss and change.
Final Design
Once the different options for your garden have been discussed and you have chosen a final design, we will finalize the plan. Detailed plans come up drawings, hardscape specifications, styling selections, plant care instructions, and a monthly to-do list so you can take full ownership of your yard.
